The Indian Council for Promotion of Energy Efficiency Business (ICPEEB) is a not-for-profit national level association of EE service providers and aims to link business purpose with larger national purpose of energy efficiency and energy security. ICPEEB aims to assist BEE in developing the implementation of EE projects through guaranteed savings approach of ESCOs, compiling the information required from Designated Energy Consumers under the EC Act, setting benchmarks for specific energy consumption for various industry sectors and commercial buildings, measurement and verification of actual savings and tracking the EE projects. This EE Mapunity (Map and Community) Project is expected to serve the GIS and MIS needs of BEE and other stakeholders in EE field.
